BBC Sherlock x Skyfall

Molly Hooper has five international best sellers under her belt and is arguably the best crime novelist to come out of Britain in decades, if a little bored with her plain, ordinary life of book signings and writing. All that changes when she is granted unprecedented access into MI6 for her first foray into the spy genre, a favor from a dear friend. She meets spies, their handlers, gets to understand MI6’s inner workings and even finds herself mildly attracted to a young charming operative, simply known as the Quartermaster.

Yet when Molly follows Q to Paris in what’s supposed to be a routine mission of resupplying British spies stationed overseas, things take a sinister turn. Various foreign embassies on France soil come under vicious attacks and Molly and Q are mistaken for double agents and branded the terrorist masterminds of the attacks. On the run as fugitives, they must rely on their wits – and each other – to clear their names and expose what may be the biggest cover-up in European intelligence history.
